Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Description

  • Specialist commercial finance role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well established finance business as an event driven/special situation funding specialist. You will be building and maintaining your own portfolio of loans by providing asset-based lending solutions to your network of loans management bankers, accountants, insolvency practitioners, corporate advisory and legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve portfolio growth targets by originating new asset based lending opportunities
  • Work with our deals team to guide new opportunities through our credit acceptance process and through to settlement, and
  • Build and maintain a suitable referrer base.

Skills & Requirements

  • SME/mid-market commercial experience
  • A network of business referrers applicable to this role
  • Demonstrated ability and business acumen to problem solve in complex and often stressful situations
  • Leadership and strong communication skills in evidence
  • Energy and drive to succeed
  • Degree qualification
  • Demonstrated sales achievement.

You will have a sales budget that is ambitious but the rewards will be commensurate with your achievements.
